CAS:Nitrofurazone (Standard) is the standard substance of Nitrofurazone, and it is applicable for quantitative analysis, quality control, and related research in biochemical experiments. Nitrofurazone (Nitrofural; Furacilin) is an orally active nitroaromatic broad-spectrum antibiotic with activity against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. It is commonly used for establishing breast cancer models.Formula:C6H6N4O4Molecular weight:198.14PharmaVetResiMix 7 Nitroimidazoles-v13 10 µg/mL in Methanol

CAS:Nitrofurazone is a synthetic antimicrobial agent that has been shown to be effective against a wide range of bacteria, fungi, and viruses. This drug has been studied using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) on cells from rat brain tumors. The EIS study yielded the most promising results when used in combination with malignant brain tumor cells. It was also found that nitrofurazone is not toxic to wild-type strains of Escherichia coli and Saccharomyces cerevisiae, but is toxic to resistant mutants of these organisms. Nitrofurazone may react with nitrite ions in solution to form nitrosating agents that can result in the formation of DNA or protein adducts which can lead to cell death.
Nitrofurazone was tested for its toxicity on human serum at different concentrations and it was found that this drug does not have significant toxicity on human serum.Formula:C6H6N4O4Purity:Min. 95%Color and Shape:Yellow PowderMolecular weight:198.14 g/mol
