:INDOXACARB
Description:
Indoxacarb is a synthetic insecticide belonging to the oxadiazine class, primarily used in agricultural applications for pest control. It functions as a neurotoxin, disrupting the sodium channels in insect nerve cells, leading to paralysis and death of the target pests. Indoxacarb is particularly effective against a variety of lepidopteran and some coleopteran insects, making it valuable in managing resistant pest populations. The compound is characterized by its relatively low toxicity to mammals and birds, which enhances its appeal as a safer alternative to traditional insecticides. Indoxacarb is typically applied in formulations that include emulsifiable concentrates or granules, and it exhibits good stability under various environmental conditions. Its mode of action is unique, as it requires metabolic activation within the insect, which contributes to its effectiveness against resistant strains. Additionally, indoxacarb has a favorable environmental profile, with low persistence in soil and water, reducing the risk of long-term ecological impact. However, like all pesticides, it should be used according to label instructions to minimize potential risks to non-target organisms.

Color and Shape:MixtureIndoxacarb
CAS:
Indoxacarb is a novel insecticide that inhibits the activity of P450 enzymes in insects. It acts as an inhibitor of atp-binding cassette transporter (ABC) and blocks the production of ATP, which leads to cell death. Indoxacarb binds to the ryanodine receptor on the sarcoplasmic reticulum, inhibiting calcium release and causing muscle paralysis and death. Indoxacarb also has synergistic effects with other insecticides including glycol ethers. This chemical is highly resistant to degradation by cytochrome P450 enzymes and requires special techniques for analysis. It has been shown that this chemical can be toxic to mammals.
Formula:C22H17ClF3N3O7Purity:Min. 95%Color and Shape:PowderMolecular weight:527.83 g/molrac-Indoxacarb-15N, d2
