Bis(1-[(2-fluorophenyl)methyl]-guanidine) sulfuric acid is a chemical compound that has been shown to have genotoxic effects. It is used in wastewater treatment, as a polymerase chain inhibitor, and as an additive in the manufacture of cellulose. The reaction mechanism of Bis(1-[(2-fluorophenyl)methyl]-guanidine) sulfuric acid is not fully understood. It has been shown to react with hydrogen fluoride and trifluoroacetic acid. Bis(1-[(2-fluorophenyl)methyl]-guanidine) sulfuric acid is chemically stable and does not decompose when mixed with sodium citrate.
