CAS 43121-43-3
:Triadimefon
Description:
Triadimefon is a systemic fungicide belonging to the triazole class, primarily used in agriculture to control a variety of fungal diseases in crops. Its chemical structure features a triazole ring, which is crucial for its mode of action, inhibiting the biosynthesis of ergosterol, an essential component of fungal cell membranes. Triadimefon is characterized by its relatively low toxicity to mammals and birds, making it a preferred choice for crop protection. It is typically applied as a foliar spray and is effective against pathogens such as powdery mildew and rusts. The substance is moderately soluble in water and has a low volatility, which contributes to its persistence in the environment. However, it is important to note that, like many pesticides, it can have adverse effects on non-target organisms, including aquatic life, and thus requires careful handling and application according to regulatory guidelines. Overall, triadimefon is valued for its efficacy in managing fungal diseases while maintaining a favorable safety profile when used responsibly.

CAS:
Triadimefon is a fungicide that has been shown to be toxic to plants, animals, and humans. Triadimefon is used as an agricultural fungicide for the control of plant diseases caused by fungi. It is also used in vitro to study the effects of chemical inhibitors on enzyme activities, such as nitrite ion, which is often found in water or soil. The synergic effect of triadimefon with other chemical inhibitors has been studied using Langmuir adsorption isotherm and in vitro assays. Triadimenol, a synthetic triazole fungicide, was shown to have synergistic effects with triadimefon when combined with chemical inhibitors. The effect of triadimefon on polymerase chain activity and resistance mutations were studied using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and wild-type strains were compared with resistant mutants.
Formula:C14H16ClN3O2Purity:Min. 95 Area-%Color and Shape:Yellow PowderMolecular weight:293.75 g/molTriadimefon
